World Toilet Day: Why Sanitation Matters

November 19, 2023 by Kenjan Oduor

World Toilet Day: Why Sanitation Matters

November 19th is World Toilet Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene. This year’s theme is “Accellerating Change“. The day is promoted through a worldwide public campaign that encourages action to tackle global sanitation needs.

According to World Toilet Organization, there are 3.5 billion people living without safe toilets, and 419 million people are still practicing open defecation. This global crisis poses a threat to nature and everyone’s health, particularly women, girls, and other vulnerable groups.

The global sanitation crisis affects millions of people around the world, particularly in developing countries. Poor sanitation can lead to the spread of diseases like cholera, typhoid, and dysentery, which can be deadly. It can also have a negative impact on education, as children who don’t have access to clean toilets are more likely to miss school.

At Karibu Loo Limited, we believe that everyone deserves access to clean and safe toilets, no matter where they live. Our goal is to enhance Kenyan sanitation by offering clean portable toilets that adhere to the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.

Our portable toilets are designed to be easy to use, clean, and maintain, making them ideal for a wide range of settings, from construction sites to outdoor events.

This World Toilet Day, we’re proud to be part of a global movement that’s working to improve sanitation and hygiene for everyone. We believe that by working together, we can create a world where everyone has access to clean and safe toilets. Sanitation matters to everyone.

To help curb the sanitation crisis, you can get involved in the following ways:

  1. Spreading the word: sharing information about World Toilet Day on social media and other channels. Letting everyone know that sanitation matters will help curb the sanitation crisis.
  2. Taking action: Engage in community action to enhance access to clean and safe toilets by organizing clean-up events, initiating petitions, and collaborating with local authorities or self-help groups. This will help in improving sanitation infrastructure.

We express our gratitude to our clients and consumers of our services across social media platforms and website pages for their continued support, enabling us to provide clean, safe portable toilets meeting high hygiene and sanitation standards.Your suggestions and feedback have helped us improve our services and better meet your needs. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.#useourloosandeducatetoo

I have to say that this far I have enjoyed working with Karibu Loo Limited. They are honest, dependable and keep utmost standards of cleanliness when it comes to the status of the toilets that they bring. Furthermore, they provide attendants that come with the toilets and maintain the cleanliness of the toilets while they are in use.
