To our clients, partners, and friends,
Ten years ago, Karibu Loo set out with a bold idea: that a portable sanitation business in Nairobi could do more than serve events and worksites — it could be a vehicle for something larger. Today, because of you, we can say that was true.
Every contract you signed, every site we serviced and every event we supported helped fund our work with Ngong Road Children’s Foundation. Your business propelled young people from NRCF’s program into real jobs. Karibu Loo has taught them what it means to show up on time, work alongside a team, take pride in their craft, and engage with clients from every walk of life. Those lessons travel with them long after they leave us. That is what your trust in Karibu Loo built.
Effective May 29, 2026, we have closed our portable sanitation business. To that end, we are no longer accepting new bookings or requests for quotation.
The timing is right. The sector we entered a decade ago has matured. When we started, professional portable sanitation was still finding its footing in Nairobi; today it is a robust industry with skilled providers ready to serve the market well. We are proud to have helped forge that path early.
To our donor partners in Kenya and abroad, to the staff who built this company day by day, and to the volunteers who gave their time to our young trainees — thank you. You made every part of this possible.
We are proud to have adventured into the sanitation sector over a decade ago and positively impacted the lives of so many young people.
With deep gratitude,
The Karibu Loo Team
